“Celtic Eyes- Clear Blue Skies”

This painting came as a direct result of the “La Belle Azur” painting. I fell for the turquoise colour and thought I’d take that colour and create the deep stare of a Celtic Irish girl. She stares deep into you if you let her…The painting came together with lots of separate layers, overlapping, to create the soft tones of skin and light. As you step away from the image you will see the skin tones melding and the out of focus neck. But it’s those eyes that will carry this painting over the line.
