A dialogue between raw earth and refined surface. This hand-thrown cup is crafted from a deep, tectonic Black Stoneware, left unglazed on the lower part to celebrate the gritty, natural texture of the clay and its grounding touch. The upper section is dipped in a unique, self-produced Brown Matt glaze. Developed in my Florence studio through careful research, this glaze offers a soft, satin finish that contrasts beautifully with the dark, charcoal body. The warm, earthy tones of the hazelnut transition into the black clay, creating a landscape of colors that is unique to every single firing. Designed for those who appreciate the weight and presence of handmade ceramics, its proportions are tailored for a generous flat white, a long coffee, or a comforting tea ritual. Materials: High-fired Black Stoneware. Glaze: Unique self-produced hazelnut matt glaze (food safe). Dimensions: Approx. 7.5 cm height, 6.5 cm diameter. Volume: Approx. 250 ml – perfect for flat whites, cappuccinos, or filter coffee. Care: Dishwasher safe, though hand-washing is recommended to preserve the raw clay's character over time. Craftsmanship: Hand-thrown in Via Romana, Florence. Each cup carries the marks of the wheel and the maker, ensuring no two pieces are ever identical.
